This specially designed spiritual rudraksha japa mala or prayer beads are used during prayer chanting and as a tool for meditation. During Japa, one uses a spiritual Japa mala of 108 beads to chant different mantras or slokas. The mala or beads help keep a count of the mantras and build a discipline to the whole process of chanting.

This Rudraksha Japa Mala comes in a Khadi (organic cotton) pouch block printed with vegetable dyes and sewn by an NGO in Delhi that provides skills training to underprivileged young women. We support local artisans all around India. We support fair trade.

  • The Japa mala ends with a Carnelian guru bead and silk tassel.
  • The silk used for making these tassels are handspun on the spinning wheel and is colored using vegetable dyes.
