This specially designed spiritual mala or prayer beads are used during prayer chanting and as a tool for meditation. During Japa one uses a spiritual mala of 108 beads to chant different mantras or slokas. The mala or beads help keep a count of the mantras and build a discipline to the whole process of chanting.
This Rudraksha Japa Mala comes in a Khadi (organic cotton) pouch block printed with vegetable dyes and sewn by an NGO in Delhi that provides training to underprivileged young women. We support local artisans all around India. We support fair trade.
