Adukkuvilakku is a traditional lamp which is used for performing special Pooja at temple. Special Arathis at particular times are performed everyday in all temples. Adukkuvilakku has steps with a handle. Oil wicks and camphors are placed and lit for performing Pooja. This lamp is also known as Alangara vilakku.
